The broadside created an independen t matter Health Service Board to promote choices made by the patients in regard to their health issues and reduced the administration tool of the National Health Service. A National Health Service Board was also created to allocate resources and provide guidance on commissioning of social care services. The powers of the new law under Section 60 of the 199 Act gave her majesty the power by order in the council to regulate social workers and social care practitioners of England. This placed the role of social workers and the role of social health care providers directly under her majesty (Britain 2012, p. 9). This Act placed a lot of Significance on Social Care services being provided in the United Kingdom. A circumstance on the adult social care was emphasized. For example, allowing the tran sfer of public health to the local government activity through local health and the well being boards. Various new bodies have emerged such as the Local health watches which have a function of checking on health and the social care standards.Childrens Act 2004. In England, the law protects the right of children. Section 11 and 12 of this Act places a statutory duty on all agencies to co-operate and promote the welfare of the children. The government guidance for social workers and other professionals that interact with children is that the social worker has a duty of charge the children safe. There should be unremitting feedback to the children social care local authority on suggestions and assessment and lastly every person who has a role should not think that he/she has the absolute right to the childs needs. It is one of the bodies mandated to register and regulates the activities of the social workers and all other social care in Wales. The care council is set up under the Care Standards Act 2000. It includes the codes of professional practice, conduct rules, and a well established guideline on the complainants procedure. Some other features accessed include consultation services, annual reports, the newsletters and the e-bulletins. Registration of workers ensures that there is as constant data of available social workers and social health care workers in a minded(p) state or region. It is easy to verify a genuine worker and avoids imposters who might be out on criminal activitiesCare and Social Services of the inspectorate of Wales This is a body mandated to regulating and inspecting the establishment of agencies that offer social care services in Wales region . It carries out duties on behalf of the ministers of Wales. It has been given power under Act 2003 of the Social and Health care to look into the handling of social services by the local authorities. On their website, one is able to raise a query on social workers conduct for necessary action.Rights and freedoms of Social workers and limitationsGuide to discipline sharing Social work is a professional duty. When dealing with children, England places emphasis on effective information sharing between the local agencies and the social workers on identification and assessment of service provisions. These are defined in Working together to safeguard children (PDF). Under this guidance, paragraph 1.24 states clearly that fears that arise on sharing personal information should not hinder progress of a childs welfare and safety. All social workers and social care provider thus are required to have an efficient information discernment process to avoid a scenario of neglect in believe th at another individual will do the task.Limitations to this guide These provisions however do have limitations. In Waless guidance on information sharing is found in chapter 14 of Safeguarding children working together under the Children Act 2004 (PDF). In these guidance paragraph 14.5 overlaps the guidance for professionals in England. It states that The safety and welfare of a child or young person must be put into consideration first when making decisions about sharing information about them and that must be superseding public interest in revealing the information. The guidance then advertise goes on to give the way forward in sharing on information. Paragraph 14.6 states that the best way of ensuring that information sharing is properly handled is to work within carefully worked out information-sharing protocols between agencies and professionals involved, and taking legal advice in each case where necessary.Guide to Loss and damage Social workers have been mandated with a l egal duty of caring and service providers. In essence these role places the employers with responsibility of paying up damages their employees suffer while in line of duty. In the event those being taken care of suffer adverse damage as a result of social work interference, then they are empower to sue the social work company for negligence. These may be as a result of physical damage, emotional or psychological damage. While this is the case, the law prohibits the suing of social workers when performing certain statutory functions like safeguarding children. Employers need to understand the times which their employees may be liable to protection under the law and when not. ordinance on discrimination on Personal concealment In line of duty, social workers provide aid services. In order for them to carry out these functions effectively, it is paramount for them to have knowledge of the raft of legislation that protects individuals for discrimination basing on their gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability or ethnicity. These are domestic laws of the United Kingdom and are complemented by European Convention on human right which protects the citizens of the United Kingdom against unjustified state interference with their life. It is always possible for government and social work agencies getting into peoples life when they are not willing. In this event then the public can resort to the human rights protection of privacy and autonomy. Social workers and social work agencies need to have knowledge of the rights and privileges granted to the masses under the European convention for both parties to avoid violating them while at the same time helping individuals who have had their rights contravenedThe Human rights Human rights are legal obligations that are to be adhered to frequently. Human rights are defined as the universal right to standard living that is adequate for healthy and well being of individuals and their families.(Roosevelt 2000, p.5). These are also embodied by global social work perspective by stating that The struggle for dignity and fundamental freedoms, which allows for the full development of human potentials, boils down to two words human rights.(IFSW 1996).The presence of this law, social work in the United Kingdom is bound to human rights which are considered sensitive to human race and collective citizenship. The social work must then be conceptualized and hypersensitive to the culture in which the services are offered. Thus a social worker in England should be able to accept the culture and laws of a state or region in which he/she is working in.Conclusion Social work and social care has a pivotal role in service delivery to the society. This view cannot go unnoticed. The values, ethics of social work such as respect for humanity, equality and service to all have played a major role in helping the less privileged in the United Kingdom. The beneficiaries have included the mentally ill, the old, women and children. The United Kingdom having realized the zippy role of social care came up with various laws not only to check but to guide the professionals in their field of work. These laws have been defined in various Acts of parliament, Scholarly publications and various codes of ethics and conduct of the Social work profession. Social workers and social care workers interact with different people on perfunctory basis. In order for a harmonious and efficient system of operation to uphold, these laws and various publications have played a major role. However the legal stipulations have also had a negative side of the story being felt where they have had to hamper the operations of social workers and social care practitioners. Technological advancements and constant reviews of challenges that have risen in the working environment of this profession I believe can act as a catalyst to new ideas to look out over this noble profession to greater heights in the United KingdomRef erencesBRITAIN, G. Victorian England Essay Example for Free
Victorian England EssayWe be studying the novel neat Expectations which was written by Charles daemon. In this novel devil shows his concerns ab surface injustices within the society that he lives in and he intends to describe to us what his childhood and past life may have been like. This novel is written in first person narration. The form its written in is called bildungsroman. It direction the protagonist of the book i. e. photograph is now grown up and is looking back on his life. I intend to compare the similarities betwixt Chapter 1 and Chapter 20 focusing on the differences between both of them.Section 2 In the beginning of the novel sprout is standing lonely and desolate in a graveyard overlooking the grave of his parents and five brothers. He appears poor and vulner up to(p) and lives with his sister and Joe Gargery (blacksmith). Since his parents died his sister has been raising him by hand. Dickens uses the weather and the fact that stain feels lonely to cr eate a frightening atmosphere and environment around Pip. When Pip is standing in the graveyard he is scared and caught by a convict called Magwitch.Magwitch catches Pip and hangs him in thin air whilst asking him his name and where he lives. Pip is terrified yet he replies with him name and tells Magwitch that he lives with the blacksmith. Magwitch shakes Pip a couple of time to empty out his pockets and he searches for any food he may be carrying. He then threatens Pip and makes him promise to bring him food tomorrow. He makes him swear he shall non tell anyone his location or a man Magwitch claims as his accomplice will find Pip and tear out his heart and his liver.Magwitch describes this man as brutal and says it will be hard to keep him away from Pip if Pip doesnt follow his instructions. Pip returns to his house and is insulted and have-to doe with by his sister while Joe defends him from her. Hes t superannuated to steal some food for the escaped convict. Dickens wants the reader to fell sorry for both Pip and Magwitch in this Chapter as they are both feeling lonely and need help. Section 3 Pip and Magwitch and both very vulnerable and scared characters. Pip is scared of Magwitch not well-read that he in turn is also scared of the soldiers that have been sent out to capture him.Pip gives the file and the food to Magwitch telling him that on that point is also another escaped convict in the nearby area and that the soldiers are close by searching as the gunshots are being comprehend by everyone. Quotations Missing Dickens intends to reflect the real Victorian society by showing that instead of Mrs . Joe sending Pip to live elsewhere she keeps him by herself. Also, the convicts want to escape prison because they are being kept in hulks and the living conditions are terrible. The transport during Victorian days was mainly walking.( During the days when Charles Dickens was growing up trains existed but he chooses to write his novels in the past tense even from his time). When convicts were given harsh punishments they were mainly transported to Australia and should they choose to return they would be killed. Dickens links the novel to Victorian England and shows that the poor and uneducated arent toughened in the same way as the rich throng were. Section 4 In Chapter 20 Pip has changed from being a child and is now twenty three years old.He has lost most of his morals in trying to become a gentleman. He now knows how to present himself in society and the people around him but knows nothing of how he should behave with his old friend and mentor, Joe. Also Pip has changed from being poor to having wealth. Pip is the same in some ways such as feeling guilty astir(predicate) anything he does wrong but as well as his wealth, he has also had a change in his attitude. He behaves as if most people are beneath him and his is better then them in most ways so basically he thinks himself better then anyone else and is bigheaded. He lives with his roommate and beaver friend Herbert Pocket. Dickens is using first person narration in this novel to present Pip in different ways as compared to Chapter 1. Pips gravitas and ungratefulness towards his true benefactor is shown through what he thinks. Pip doesnt like the fact that his benefactor is a criminal who he helped in his childhood. Section 5 Once again Dickens has presented us with atmosphere that frightens Pip just like in Chapter 1. Dickens highlights the fact that the weather is once again stormy, rainy and cloudy all the time.He creates the same conditions that occurred the first time that Magwitch entered Pips life thus introducing the fact that Magwitch will return in this Chapter. When Magwitch shows up at Pips flat, Pip is terrified and he still thinks of Magwitch as the powerful figure from his childhood and starts feeling vulnerable not knowing that Magwitch feels the same way as he is a return convict from Australia and could end up in prison again. Pip is surprised to find out about Magwitch having given him enough cash to cover his expenses and live like a gentleman. He appears to be the same as he was all those years ago, he behaves and acts as if him and Pip are very close when in fact Pip is horrified over what he has just found out. He wants to be able to live with Pip and he thinks of him as a very nice person for having helped him when he was a child. Section 6 At the beginning of Chapter 20 Pip is face up with tough decisions. He is confused about how to deal with the circumstances he is faced with. When Pip is faced with the reality that Mrs. Havisham has not been his benefactor and therefore realises that means that Mrs.Havisham had not intention of wanting him to marry Estella. He thinks that he has been cheated and Pip doesnt like the fact that whatever he has achieved has been accomplished by the convict and manslayer who Pip helped during his childhood. First person narration is used here to explain Pips disappoint ment and sadness. When Pip about Magwitch having funded him he is not pleased besides knowing that Magwitch is a criminal he also knows that this means Miss Havisham was not preparing him to marry Estella therefore there is now no hope for him being able to do so.Conclusion At the time this novel was written the justice system in Victorian England was very harsh especially with the poor people. Dickens has shown Magwitch as a very nice person who is good hearted and wants to help Pip in any way that he can but he finds it hard to do so because since he has gotten in trouble with the law. If he chooses to return to England and meet Pip he will suffer harsh justice. Since he murdered his partner, Compeyson then Magwitch will be put to death.During the time Dickens wrote this novel the death penalty was very common and whilst writing each of his novels he chooses a character who is poor and suffering due to the legal system. Through Pips experiences in this novel we can now fully under stand that the poor arent treated equally to the rich in any way. The poor are mainly uneducated and the rich live exquisite lifestyles in which they are free to do whatever they please. Victorian England is projected as full of injustice ands the differences between rich and poor is emphasized.

Developing a Healthy Relationship after Abusive Relationship
Developing a Healthy Relationship after Abusive RelationshipThe avail satisfactory evidence in this re military position suggested that in (2003), it was projected 1.3 million womanlys in the U. Based on this analysis, the examiner suggested that psychological health specialists must be prep ard and experienced to move maltreated females from being martyrs to fighters learning to live a life without aggression (Graham-Bermann et al., 2009). For example, close pinch occurs when individuals sh are signifi rear endce or co-create appreciation, and enkindle establish their behaviors to echo their combined significance (Blow, 2009).Blow, (2009) proposed that strong domestic affiliat ion support systems are significant to remain wholenesss mind. Current collected works shows that managing does non only affect the IPV, but also effects IPV fighters psychological wellbeing (Calvete et al., 2008 Krause et al., 2008 Lee et al., 2007 Clements Sawhney, 2000 Kocot Goodman, 2003).M any(prenominal) people wedged by DV (Humphreys, 2003) adjudge been able to become strong and unwavering conducts in the face of very demanding surroundings (Linley Joseph, 2004), according to pliability probes. As Per Warner (2004), he noted that struggling can be a kind of direction to help women as in resilience to help create a new free from aggression life story. The determination of this research is to listen to the females verbi mature approximately their occurrences acquiring a wholesome connection. This research falls into the Capella program of research under the category of advocacy across the lifespan. The findings from this remove can be used to advocate for battered women for more direct service, and handling that can be recognized to help inner(a) partner or domestic violence survivors.Women survivors of abusive kindreds learning to develop healthy relationships.SECTION 1.2The psychometric test collected works show that rates of (IPV) are above normal, and rates of individuals looking for help for their problems are below average (Flemming, 2016).Brosi, 2004 Hays et al., (2010) suggested that the available evidence seems to in model us that women that are being ill-treat obtain various pres sures such as create self-assurance in a new relationsh ip, surely it be with a male or female friends, or with a new counselor. What we do realize is that by directing DV fighters in assisting them to deal with their previous situation by joining treatment approaches to mitigate help them comprehend the method, and occurrences of maltreated females. It pull up s places assist them to acquire other abilities, and view loony toonss about themselves, and their establishing a locale for them to grow (Paulina, 2015).We understand that sufferers of forceful attacks may thicket disruptions in confidence and/or self-competence, as well as anxiety/evasion, emotional constriction, and sensual dysfunction (Koss, 2000).We also realize that Self-efficacy (Bandura, 1977 1982) in abused females beat a tendency to be important to females allow foringness for change. Also, Tirone, (2014) proposed that empowerment in an planning of getting unique provisions, and feelings of self-efficacy, can assist females in noticing more the assessment of their i ll-mannered association.Presently, lack of research exists that may help to explain how some female survivors succeed after being through the turmoil of domestic violence piece of music other women struggle with getting out of the relationship (Lerne, 2008).Though numerous examiners are predisposed to explore the undesireable results of forceful associations, a small number hit ac cognizeledged how this knowledge might have provokeed the crucial optimistic alteration or development (Young, 2007).According to Allen Wozniak, (2010) what seems to be missing in the investigation is the sympathetic method of what happens after a person exits an unmannerly association, and in what approach they develop a harmless, non-forceful, and eloquent existence.According to McDonald, (2013) states what is seems to be overlooking is on the outcome of times that has gone by of agression or mistreatment has on other parts of females lives, such as associations, their vision of themself and how they monitor their lives or additive years after parting.( fraction 2.1)Women survivors of abusive relationships learning to develop healthy relationships.DV once once against females is characterized as Intimate partner violence (IPV) which is both a human privileges matter and is an importance of global security concern that (IPV) is the most devastating sort of sexual emphasis based unkindness (Fagan, 2010). The 2013 Global Burden of Disease Study assesses that 30% of women age 15 or over have come across a bodily or sexual (IPV) for the length of their lives (Owusu et al., 2016).The IPV, adds to numerous unfavorable dealings for the sufferer such as despair, disrubtive behavior, feelings that there is nothing to live for especially in females, nervousness, low sense of worth, incapabile to confide in others, especially in persomal associations, fear of intimacy, and signs of post-traumatic direction disorder (Bergen, 1996 Roberts, Klein, and Fisher, 2003).Cognitive Trauma ther apy for Battered Women according to Kubany, Hill,Owens,2008) describe that the treatment of (CTTBW) is considered to use for women who have PTSD linked to IVP ,and that are no daylong involved with the abuse partner.Survivors of domestic abuse have a history of maltreatment, and are frequently out of touch with their needs that are powerless to demonstrate, and are unable to ask for their needs to be met. Existing studies shows that therapists that treat individuals of DV is their duty to confirm that they are empathetic of the abuse dynamic forces and the impression of the long-term controvert effects these have on the survivor (Sanderson,2009).Supporting evidence have showed that women who have experienced IPV pull on from different nourishive resources to develop resilience (Perez et al.,2012). For, instance, among certain womens spirituality has been kn hold as an important protective portion for them who have experienced abuse. Furthermore, Gillette, De la Rosa, (2010). P roposed that positive religious coping has a connection with positive mental health, including greater happiness, quality of liveliness, and psychological well-being Avele at all., 2006 Lee, 2007 Harris et al., 2008).Linley Joseph (2004) reported that resilience studies showed that for some individuals in any which way of ongoing, broad(prenominal)ly trying environments, cosmopolitanly those relateed by domestic violence can get into heathy and stable behaviors.Bearing in mind with couples treatment in (IVP) the crucial voices and ends should do with (1) aquiring ideas of positive and agression-free associations (2) evaluating love, compromise, and wedded contentment (3) learning to develop faith and re-establishing well-being (Stith et al., 2005) and (4) the use of a met discussion, i.e., discussion among the therapists in the direction of the couple (Cooper Vetere, 2005 Stith et al., 2005).Coker et al (2009) suggested that near half of DV get into proper services, mainly cr isis hotlines, emergency DV shelters, and community-based programs which offer services from safety planning, counseling, and peer support groups to job search support and housing assistance.Sanders, (2010) reported that once the survivor rejoin they can commence the renew of their lives in the direction they are in control of. Furthermore, as they feel more associated they testament light to start new friendships, ontogenyd complaisant support relationships in the knowledge that can set healthy boundaries against future abuse or manipulation. forward psychometric tests has founded that women fighters of DV have connected resiliency effects that have allowed them to overthrow the undesireable effects of domestic violence. (Vanbreada, 2001 young 2007 Weiner, Wilson 2009). For instance, a few studies have suggested that some associations among defensive influences in the procedure of pliability, such as using treatment allow intensify the control to enlarge the social assistance system (Senter Caldwell, 2002 Smith, 2003).(Section 2.2)How do women survivors who have been in an abusive relationship describes their experiences of developing a healthy relationship with a male partner?Define TermsWomen fighters are females who have produced a excerption to be conscious from being easy targets. Re give inatives of individual change who are more in control of their lifetimes (Mercy, 2001).Unmannerly relations (Mercy, Zwi, and Lozano, 2002) defined as hardheartedness as they consider explanation rotter physical pressure or control, crippled, against oneself, another individual, or against a social affair or gathering, that has a high likelihood of achieving harm, demise, mental harm, maldevelopment or hardship (p. 5).Healthy relationship definitions.Honesty -When a dating companion that lies, it demands time to build that trust in him or her. It demonstrates they are quiet and appropriately friendly to permit others to express their beliefs without compelling their own sentiments on them (Debnam, 2014).Section 2.3The aim of this soft research weigh is to answer the research question How women survivors who have been in an abusive relationship describes their experiences of developing a healthy relationship with a male partner.Within this study, the research provide address how the female fighters who have been in an unmannerly associations explains their occurrences of developing a healthy association with a male companion. By doing so the present study leave alone demonstrate how these adult females exit learn how to healthy relationships. As, per Buchlinder Eric, (2005) suggested that mental health professionals are to help women move towa rd an insightful position regarding the impact of their psychological emotional, verbal abuse in their lifetimes. By empowering women and reinforcing to them that it is not their fault, dismissing the insult, and granting them the tools to help themselves can be part of the answer to this social and wellness issues (Carretta, 2008).Section 2.4The qualitative research will be given to the phenomenology approach because it was developed in psychology, and it will intend to explore the world live experience of people (Creswell, 2013).The qualitative research is a kind of review to considering an individual familiarity, connections, and conduct patterns. It follows to explain, and translate the style of an individuals conduct, and incentive (Bursztyn, 2016). Consequently, this examination will assume, and define the women survivors of DVs understandings of the inquiries partakers in a luxuriant set, and document randomness from partakers in their own languages (Ponterotto, 2005).Cres well, (2013) reported that phenomenology describes the effect of life experiences for people holding an actual phenomenon or notion. Furthermore, the phenomenology is the scientific study of the presence of things, of phenomena but as research workers examine them in their knowledge, and does not worry itself with issues of fact, but seeks to uncover meanings of the phenomena being considered (Creswell, 2013).The phenomenological study offers the way for people to talk about their experiences in their own terminology (Creswell, 2009 Patton, 2002). The experience from the women survivors of abusive relationships establishing healthy relationships will be discovered from their own spokespeople. The aim of the phenomenological study is to achieve information that provides a point of view on how a collection of individuals undergo the experiences of a phenomena or idea (Creswell, 2009).However, IPA originates from the phenomenological tradition, and the charge of research is therefore on investigating topics or objects as they are represented in and perceived by the participant Iversen, 2012.Smith Osborn, (2003) suggested that the using the descriptive IPA is to examine how individuals defecate significance of their private realm, and has its phenomenology, hermeneutics, and ideography.Moustakas, (2006) suggested that existed understanding is not something that can be calculated or measured and many instances a phenomenological investigator has curiosity or motives for wanting to study the lived knowledge (Creswell, 2013).Section 3.1The latest examination will add to the methodical by comprising the female fighters of DVs familiarity to womens feminist theory in that it will shed light on the style in which ladies and men have been associated in the United States (Hunnicutt, 2009).The DV field is the foundation of womens rights, and liberation. The focal example of intermediation was women fighters helping other fighters (Berry, 2002 Wilson, 1997). Melzer, (20 02) suggested that the noteworthy idea of feminist theory is to slew the lack of sexual category struggles and its reviews of their knowledges, awareness, and communal gatherings of mature females. The feminists understanding of encouragement of females is as the most effective way to deal with man to woman violence behavior (Forgey, 2006).This present study will add to the scientific information base of addressing and recognizing the familiarities of female survivors who have been in a rude association sexual intercourse their history of developing healthy relationships by applying empowerment-building models which are suitable and very much needed in the social and behavioral science field intervention with disempowered females who are sufferers and fighters of DV.Section 3.3 The applied insinuations of this research will help with distributions of services, for example research proposes the significance of service delivery upholding its feminist gender-based model, as it creates disclose results for women (Abrahams Bruns, 1998 Goodman Epstein, 2008 Weisz, 1999 Zweig Burt, 2006, 2007). The stakeholders that will be absorbed in the examination info regarding female fighters who have been in an unmannerly association explain their occurrences of developing healthy associations. studies have shown better results from the feminist gender based model. The feminist gender-based model accepts that battered females are intellectual gifted females who need a harmless place to live trance working on refining their condition and gaining from plans offered by their shelter if they choose (Lehrner Allen, 2009). The outcomes from this study will benefit stakeholders by adding to the knowledge base and advance study. The examination outcomes will be suitable for program campaigners, communal essential resources, and politicians to raise funds, and bring awareness for more services.Section 4.1The phenomenology examines the independencies lived settings, and everyone has their exact practicality realism is individual (Creswell, 2013). Phenomenology reduce on the inner core of experience. Likewise, it seeks individuals who are willing to express feelings, and experiences (Creswell,2013).The phenomenological style is positioned in a model of individual learning and bias, and focus the individual point of view, and interpretation (VanScoy, 2015).The phenomenology approach agrees for analyzing information in an investigation of women who been in an abusive relationship describing their experiences in growing sound relationships. As per Wertz, (2005) recommended that the phenomenological attitude needs to be empathic as such the researcher strives to give his or her own world behind and join through the written description, into the situations of the participants.Van Scoy, (2015) further proposed that IPA provides an additional approach to research wanting to implement a phenomenological approach. It is like other phenomenological approach in its bas ic point on understanding experiences from the members view. Though, its sole focus is on the individuals experiences of a phenomenonThe IPA continue from a purposive homogeneous model and is the most common data collection technique using semi-structured consultation Smith, (2016).The rouge system used in this study to collect data in IPA studies is semi-structured consultations (Smith et al., 2009, p. 56). Brocki and Wearden (2006) proposed that some disimiliar tactics are infrequently used, for instance, journals, field notes, and email consultations (pp. 92-94) in any case, the distinctive greater part of IPA research depend on data from in-person consultations. The choice to use the semi-organized consultation as the only foundation of information for the assessment mirrors (IPAs) value of the members conversion of the occurrence under review. As Smith, et al. (2009) clarified, members ought to have been allowed a chance to recount their stories, to talk openly and brilliantl y, and to build up their thoughts and express their worries at some length (p. 5).IPA consultations emphasize on a preparation of specific reviews yet to take into thought flexibility in adopting up on answers mentioned in reactions to the given inquiries. Smith et al. (2009) prepared six to ten open-finished questions that include a variety of sorts account, illustrative, basic, differentiate, evaluative, round, and similar (p. 58).How women survivors who have been in an abusive relationship describes their experiences of developing healthy relationship CharacteristicsThe larger population from which the sample will be drawn are from women from different cultural backgrounds . The area where this research will take place is in the Bronx, New York. The sample for this study will be selected from the population of diverse ages females coming from different backgrounds ages 27-60 who identify as survivors of domestic violence. The phenomenological ingest works well when the individual studied represents people who have perceived with the same phenomenon (Creswell, 2013, page 155).The sampling designThe testing strategy utilize will be nonprobability sampling. Non-probability practices any sampling technique which the chance of a person being chosen into the sample that is unknown (Creswell, 2013).The sampling strategy utilize will be nonprobability sampling, and the performance is purposive. As such this sampling has a purpose in mind in that there is something close to the possibility participations you want to know about (Creswell, 2013). This design is of useS for this research since it entails an understanding to the process of women healing after being in an abusive relationship. Likewise, the purposive sampling tactics are well-thought-out to increase the apprehension of the chosen individuals or group experiences and the role of advancing their thoughts, and ideas (Creswell, 2013).Population is women ages between 27 to 60. Inclusion criteria Females ages f rom 30 to 60 years old.Gender mixtureExclusion CriteriaPotential participants that have been in healthy relationship for at least 4 years prior to the research.Has been diagnosed with a mental health issue.Section 4.3Creswell, (2015) highlighted that one must first get approval from university or college institutional as well as individuals at the research commit. Then the study will be within groups participating in therapy for (DV) and through social media advertising to women in healthy relationships, with the approval and authority of the administration staff and on a voluntary basis.Legerski Bunnell, (2010) noted that confidentiality plays a major part in protecting individuals in the research procedure. Informed consent written will converse confidentially about the research, and the protection of the research participants. All interview data collected will be coded statistically, and no names will be recorded to protect confidentiality. Research electronic data will be sto red on a translated drive and any paper documents will be secured in a locked read cabinet at the researchers site. The data will be saved for several years. The drive will be destroyed, and the paper documents will be shredded. Moreover, making sure all the participants are protected throughout this inquiry. The Belmont Report will be adhering to protect all the participants by using the interest ethical principles e, (a) respect for persons, (b) beneficence, and (c) justice. Respect for persons requires recognition that people are autonomous agents and that those who may have reduced autonomy must be protected. Beneficence requires that researchers do no harm, while make the most of the possible benefits and minimizing possible harms. The rule of justice indicates that people should be treated equally (Goodie, 2013).The following description will be talking about protecting the research participants involve in this arena as a necessity to ensure every one of the members in this study will be ensured by applying the moral standards as per the (Economic and Social Research Council rules 2006).Protecting human participants with informed consent at the start of the research, therefore, all the participants involved will be handed to them an inform consent that will talk about confidentiality before the inquiry commences. Also, participants are told the conditions they will encounter, and are given the freedom to accept or decline participation (IIgen, 2001). Therefore, the informedconsent process will be handmade to address each individual need in the research, and differences to help ensure thSat they are protected Sas well as the researcher in this study.Lastly from the bulge outning of the study researchers at no time when collecting consent forms for this study should leave. Likewise, researcher should not force participants to sign the inform consent (Creswell, 2014).Section.5.1First, the research staff will need to assemble a team to create an outreach support social media site such as Facebook, and or twitter where they can connect with our staff. The research team can also create pamphlets flyers with the researchers contact information as well as a schedule of conference call or Skype times to be placed at local hospitals, clinics, librarys adult section, and school offices.Second, once the researcher establishes a clientele list the researcher should negotiate a local location where the researcher can meet with individuals for a face to face setting where the researcher will give the client the proper materials to sign advising the information given may be subjected to research teams for further use in studies. erst the researcher gets approval from the administrator of the social media site, and manager of the location that they will use for one on one interview the researcher should submit those garner of approval to Capella for review. Creswell, (2015), states that qualitative research involves the work of a research site (s), and gaining permission to read the site in a manner that will enable the easy accumulation of data.RecruitmentRecruitment will be done by phone contact from individuals responding to flyers that were distributed, and from repliers on the social media websites.Flyers would have already been distributed social websites would have already been created, and left open for anyone to join if they met the criteria. Also, the location to be used for interviews should be added to all distribution whether by flyer or social media sites.Once participants reach out to our researchers screening process will begin.Screening questionsAre you between ages 27 60Have you been in a stable relationship within the last 4 yearsPotential participants can contact the researcher by phone or email. This information is listed on all recruitment documents. The researcher will collect the name, phone number and email addresses of the potential research participants when they respond to flyer or any social m edia site discussed above.(Section 5.2)Steps to obtain data information collected will lead off by setting up a scheduled one on one consultation either in the office, and or in a local group therapy office to gather the necessary information to begin the research study. The researcher will contact the potential participants by phone or email the contact information they provided to schedule the interview and discuss interview details. In the meantime, when all the participants have been screened interview scheduling will get going for those who fulfill the prerequisites.Prior to accumulating the necessary information, a signed consent form should be reviewed then signed by the participant with the clear understanding that all the information collected may, and will be reviewed by other equal members or professionals to help resolve any participants issues. The participants will then be given the location of the interview. Each participant will be interviewed separately, so that cov ert can be maintained. One hour semi-structured interviews will be scheduled.(Section 5.3)How women survivors who have been in an abusive relationship describes their experiences of developing healthy relationshipGathering these descriptions can be worked in several ways, of which face-to-face interviews are the most common. The face to face interview will be taken place local therapy officewith permission of the IRB, and the administrative staff .The rationality behind these questions is to try to get the individual to try to explain their feelings of overcoming their past experiences to help them cope, and allow them to move on with their lives and the apprehend of beginning new and successful relationships.Do you think it would be difficult to start a new relationship after having been in an abusive relationship? In what ways?Rational- To get a better understanding how she is dealing with her trust issues.Since your last relationship, how would you describe any difficulties you have had in trying to begin a new relationship ?Rational- What has gone well. Can you describe what is like when you interact with a male in a social environment who interest you?Rational- The rationale behind this question if she is ready to establish a solid relationship.Describe for me the process youve experienced in building a new relationship with a male after dealing with all the emotional, verbal, and or physical abused you endured in a previous relationship?Rational The rationale behind this question to understand is trust is a major issue. What would be the warning signs, and what steps would you take if you ever found yourself in an abusive relationship again?Rational- To be able to understand if she has evaluated how she wants things to be different in her life, and if she has awareness of how an abusive relationship may begin in small ways. How would you describe a healthy relationship you feel you now have, or would hope to have in the future?Rationale To be able to reco gnize if she is aware of the signs of being in a healthy relationship.(Section.5.4)The qualitative research step by step guide to data analysis. Creswell, (2013) highlighted that the data is sensitive of the qualitative analysis, and are generated by interviews as the participants talk about and think along the phenomenon from their subjective views.Wertz, F.J. (2005) endorsed that the phenomenological analysis starts by focusing on the situations preceding to trying general knowledge. This researcher will utilize as per Smith, Osborn, (2007) a step by step approach sketched of the (IPA) in this study.First, during the interview the researcher will be asked questions, listening, and recording the research participant. The following step by step by (Smith, Osborn 2007).First the (IPA) phenomenological researcher can listen and transcribe verbal descriptions and interviews.Read the complete transcription to understand the general the processContinue to read the transcription using the left margin to the note any interesting or noteworthy things the co-researcher allegedRead again the transcription again, using the right margin to begin to organize evolving themesJoin the themes by looking at links between them gathering on a separate sheet.Associate on bunching the original transcript to guarantee correct wordingGenerate grouped themes to create superordinate themes and link in key words and page numbers of transcripts.Overall finish the same process with all transcriptions of co-researchers.One could notify other transcripts of the superordinate list from the first transcript. eventually generate column of superordinate themes. Researcher then arranges and reduces data to focus on themes.Lastly, translate themes into a narrative write up explaining and showing them by quotations.(Section 5.5)This scholar has not had any previous data collection or research experience, but has learned about research through the research courses for the know course of study huma n behavior. The current paper presents an enhanced Pixel Indicator Method (PIM) by comparing three MSB bits at individually picture element to embed the info. And we also use Blowfish algorithmic rule to convert message into cipher text. By exploitation the combination of these deuce proficiencys we bed achieve greater complexity. Due to this mechanism proposed regularity makes the message difficult to be dis sweeped with less distortion and embedding rates.Key invents Steganography, Pixel Indicator, Blowfish, Distortions, Embedding Rates.INTRODUCTIONSince the rise of the www (World Wide Web) on e of the most in-chief(postnominal) facts of Internet. Cryptography is one of the method through which we can achieve security. Two master(prenominal) methods of cryptography are encryption and decryption. By using these two techniques we can provide security for our secrete data. But there are some drawbacks in cryptography such as Brute-force attacks by which the intruders can identify the data. To avoid brute-force attacks it is necessary to have a larger key space 1. And using Cryptanalysis the can extract the original data.Steganography is a technique to hide the secrete information. It I related to Cryptography is just about old technique. It was used by the Ancient Greeks to hide information from other(a) troops. The word steganography I derived from the Greek word stegos meaning cover and grapy meaning writing defining as covered writing. Essentially information hiding is the main task of steganography. The embedding process creates a stego doubling which contains inform ation. The basic method used to hide data in image is LSB technique. By using this technique we gillyflower the information in to the lowest degree significant bit of all(prenominal) picture element. One of the common encoding performed over the secret image before embedding is Huffman Encoding 2.Steganography has two primary goals 1) Security-It is the hidden data stored by either person or a computer.2) Capacity-It shows how much data can be hidden in a given cover image. These two goals are often in competition. As a result, steganography started to attract the attention of computer researchers and users. In fact, the goal of steganography is to hide the important information of communication by embedding the secrete data to transmit into a digital media file such as image or text files.OVERVIEW OF STEGANOGRAPHY least(prenominal) Significant Bit (LSB) MethodThis is one of the most important and popular techniques of steganography. By this method, least significant bits of the p ixel (in black white images) or colour in are used to embed secret message bits. It is a good steganography mechanism since changes in a least significant bit yield a few(prenominal) changes in the original image. The stego-image quality is improved by using LSB technique. In this technique, certain least significant bits of cover image are replaced with secrete data 3.Suppose, for example, the by the American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) with the numerical value as 01000111, is replaced with the following pixel values (the underlined bits represent the embedded bits)Pixel 1= (R=00011101, G=00111010, B=11001010) =(R=00011100, G=00111011, B=11001010)Pixel 2= (R=01011001, G=10011011, B=11001110) =(R=01011000, G=10011010, B=11001111)Pixel 3= (R=10010100, G=10101001, B=00110000) =(R=10010101, G=10101001, B=00110000)The LSB approaches are divided into two fixed- and variable- distance categories 4. By the fixed-length methods, a given number of least significant bi ts of a byte are selected for embedding the data. In the variable-length method an assortment numbers of least significant bits of the proposed byte are chosen 5. Cleanness and the pace of little changes in the portrait are the advantages of these techniques, while the disadvantage includes the chance of unshakable revealing.Pixel Indicator ProcessAdnan Gutub(2010)6 in reference developed a method where a single semblance among three color components of a pixel was served as the pixel indicator meaning that it indicates which colors in the pixel contains hiding bits of a secret message. Random values are selected for the indicator of each pixel, based on which message bits are placed in other colors of that pixel. The indicator uses two bits inserted inside two least significant bits of a specific color considered as the indicator. To increase the security of this technique, the color chosen as the pixel indicator is varied, so in the first pixel, Red is the indicator, putting gr een is Channel 1, and Blue is Channel 2. For second pixel, Green is the indicator for pixel, Red and Blue act as Channel 1 and Channel 2, respectively. Finally, in leash pixel, Blue is the indicator, while Red and Green act as Channel 1,Channel 2. The embedding of message is flowcharted in Figure 1.Pixel Indicator Embedding Process Because of the application of indicator this method needs a wide space and, obviously, registration of colorFigure 1 Pixel indicator embedding processThe study uses the basic model of LSB deal along with Pixel Indicator and follows the same but with different think 7.Two such methods are described here one with evade indicator and other with recurring indicator.LSB swap offers enhanced quality and capacity. On the words, confidential data is entrenched in data channels by modifying the cover image bits.In his propose method we first estimate the mean and standard deviation of every pixel if the entire image. The accidental traversing path is used for emb edding to increase flock .The representation for this study is given by the author. Before embedding process starts up, each cover image submits itself to control by means of translation of matrix and modulo 8.Hence the cover image undergoes successive alterations even before embedding. The plan of calculating mean and also standard deviation increases the difficulty of embedding rates.PROPOSED SOLUTIONThe study uses the primary imagination of LSB swap along with Pixel Indicator and follows the same but with different methodology .The technique uses the MSB bit of RGB channels of a pixel. The channels can be choose in random (or) in sequence i.e. RGB, RBG etc soon 9 .However the indicated MSB bits are available at random based on image size, quality and its properties. The relationship between the hidden data in 3 channels is shown in slacken 1. Indicator values based action.TABLE 1 INDICATOR VALUES BASED ACTIONWe have selected the indicator channels in sequence that is Red, Green and Blue. And then we find the MSB bit of each channel to know the bits. Once we got the bits we needed then we can perform the following process. The process of encryption and decryption takes place before hiding and afterward retrieving original information. During the encryption and decryption both sender and receiver uses same key/password.The encryption technique we used here is Blowfish which is having key length from 32 bits to 448 bits and it uses symmetric block cipher. Blowfish is developed in 1993 by Bruce Schneier as an alternative to existing algorithms.Blowfish algorithm 10 is a Feistel Network in which there are 16 rounds. In each round different sub keys are used. The block size is of 64 bits and key can be any length up to 448 bits.Figure-2 Flow chart for embedding dataAlgorithm for embeddingRead the cover image(C) and secrete data to be embedded (D).Converting the secrete data into cipher text using BLOWFISH algorithm.Extract the length of the secrete data and st ore it in first 8 bytes.Divide each pixel into R, G, and B planes. And find the MSB bits of the 3 planes.By using the Tabel-1 select the channels where you want to store data.Repeat the process till all the secrete data is stored.Store the resultant stego image.Algorithm for ExtractionRead the stego image.Split the pixel into RGB channels and find the MSB bit of each channel.Compare the retrieved bits with the Table 1 to find the channels that contain data. Now get the encrypted data and perform the decryption process to get original data.Repeat the process until the all data is retrieved.RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONThe technique was implemented and tested in java. The technique accepts all mainly JPEG, PNG BMP images of size 260349.We can select a bmp image for interrogatory the proposed Enhanced PIT algorithm. The PIT method is compared with the Stegoimage-1bit, Stegoimage-2bit, Stegoimage-3bit, Stegoimage-4bit. The approximate BMP image size used is 512 X 384 used to veil a text message of 11,733 characters length. The algorithm is used to hide 1-bit, 2-bits, to find the effect of transparency, security and capacity. Tests results showed different levels of diagrammatic inspections and histograms based study. For influence obligation the numbers of pixels used are recorded in each trial run.Figure 3 Original imageFigure 4 Stego imageHigher PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) 11 indicates that the steganography images are of high feature and does not hunt for the interest of the intruder because if zilch image artifacts. MSE (Mean Squared Error) and PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) are given byMSE=)2WhereM, N=Dimensions of the image.Ci,j=The pixels in the original image.Si,j=The pixels of the stego image.PSNR=) DBWhere, for color image =255.CONCLUSIONThe current paper provided a technique by exploiting differences made between colors to embed message bits in two least significant bits. Since color selection is based on color differences and values of variable N, the message will be hard to detect. Furthermore, as there is no need to insert additional information, changes in image will be undersized and image quality will be higher. Another important dismantle to be mentioned is that embedding which is first applied on first least significant bits and, then, second least significant bits yields few changes in the original image for messages with small sizes. Because changes in second least significant bits will make more changes in color values. Therefore, it is likely to be avoided, unless this approach needs to be worked. citeFirst and foremost, I would like to be grateful Dr. B. Tarakeshwar Rao for his most support and encouragement. We have considered a sample size of 40 constituting of 20 Samsung Galaxy S2 users and 20 Apple iPhone 4 users(as iPhone 4S has not been officially launched in Dubai yet). With the feedback we have received through our survey we are conducting our statistical analysis and the results a re as given belowThe two main objectives of this survey was to understand the finale process of the consumer before purchasing the phone. The 2nd objective is to measure the level of consumer satisfaction among the two smartphone users.Product Attributes influencing the finish making in buying the phoneThe three basic attributes which came as an important cistron after analyzing the data are Brand value, Performance Features/Specifications.Brand Value is very important among the consumers of both Galaxy S2 iPhone4. It has been seen in our survey 59% were Apple users who got much influenced by Apple Brand to purchase their phone compared to Samsung that is 41%.Performance is an extremely important factor for both iPhone as well as Galaxy users. As shown in the piechart the S2 users were more influenced by performance of the phone as this one of the attribute that led them to prefer Samsung smartphones to the iPhone.Features/Specifications is an extremely important influential f actor for purchasing phone for the users of iPhone and Galaxy S2. For Galaxy S2 it is inferred that 54% users were influenced by this to purchase the phone compared to iPhone which is just 46%.Medium of Attributes that led to this decisionThis is to understand the various medium which has played a important role to facilitate the decision process. In both Samsung Galaxy S2 and iPhone4 word of mouth and advertising played a crucial role where as industrial publications and trade show events were not that impactful. As seen in the pie chart Samsung has 64% and iPhone 4 has just 36%. Being a challenger Galaxy S2 and shown above having high influence for its performance and specifications word of mouth has become an important factor.Samsung has been more influential with its advertisements compared to Apple as seen in the chart towards the left. They used Teaser videos and was more aggressive in their Advertising strategy for Galaxy S2.Inferences of the product through AdvertisementsTher e were certain attributes shown in the Ad for the two products. After watching the Ads consumers had perceive that these attributes, Product is of High Quality, Brand Awareness, Were the Claims made believable are important than other attributes.Inspite of the aggressive advertisements strategy that Samsung had shown, Apple still managed to portray their product as a High Quality product from very few of their official advertisements. As we have seen the Brand value is a high influential factor while purchasing iPhone. This must have been generated through brand awareness in which advertisement is one of the factors. As we have seen from the Unique selling proposition, Apple had always shown advertisements stressing more upon their Applications. This claim made by them is more believable, as seen from the pie chart.Customers who relied on Internet Research for their Decision of their PhoneIt is seen from the people we surveyed that there are high number of people who use Internet to understand the overall specifications of the phone. From this we can infer that Internet is a major factor for making their decision for the product. From the results we derived its been seen that Review websites played a major role in the customers who bought Samsung Galaxy S2 whereas You Tube and Company websites were most influenced in the buying process of iPhone4 users. Its quite extend from the chart that most of these two smartphone users have experienced the phone prior to purchase. From the bar chart we interpret that the highest number of people using the Samsung Galaxy S2 got providential by using their friends phone which led them to the purchase of the same. However, in the case of iPhone both friends phone and company showroom both play a critical role. As the major dealers like Sharaf DG and Jumbo they have a exclusive section for iPhone. Its clear from the bar charts that majority of iPhone users are all Die-Heart fans whereas Galaxy S2 users are all Inspired users wh o experienced the phone and then decided to have it. In this we can see that Apple has a strong Brand Loyal customer Base. Now we arrived to the final phase of our survey where we measure the customer satisfaction post purchase of the PhoneFrom the Survey we inferred that majority of the users in both the brand smartphones are very satisfied and agreeing that the phone is fun and easy to use. However, the iPhone4 had a higher count in the number of people who demonstrate it more fun and easy.We inferred from the pie chart that majority of the users of Galaxy S2 as well as iPhone4 were Very satisfied about the Quality made of the phone. However, the iPhone4 had a higher count in the number of people who had said has a better quality make of the case. The majority of consumers were very satisfied with the features which were suiting there need in both the smart phone as we can see from the graph. However, the Galaxy S2 had a higher count in the number of people who had the impression that it suited their needs. The earnings experience is having more satisfied consumer for iphone compare to Samsung galaxy S2. Nonetheless majority of the mobile users were very satisfied about their Internet admission fee experience. When it comes to application majority of the two phone users were very satisfied with what their phone provided them. But then when we compare between the two phones we see that iPhone4 had more number of people who were very satisfied with their online Application store as they have an app for almost anything. Both the phone users had majority users who were very satisfied with the photo and video clarity their phone had, but comparing between the two phones its seen in the piechart, iPhone has more very satisfied customers in respect to Photo and camera clarity. healthful Performance was ranked very satisfied for both the phone user in majority, Galaxy S2 has more very satisfied customers compared to iPhone4 as we can see from the pie chart.Clearly fr om the bar chart its visible that iPhone users are not happy with the Battery Backup the phone provides, whereas for Galaxy S2 its having an uneven distribution so what we understand is the phone gives different battery backup depending on the purpose of what the user does the most.SWOT Analysis on rear of Consumer Behaviour SurveyOn the basis of our consumer behaviour survey we have redefined our SWOT AnalysisApple iPhone 4StrengthsFirst MoverBrand of High Quality AwarenessLoyal User BasePhoto Video ClarityApplication store UseInternet Access ExperienceWeaknessLimited Distribution channels little AdvertisementLess Word of MouthOpportunitiesExisting ApplicationsLoyal customer baseThreatsGorilla AttackIntense competitionHighly Developed MarketSamsung Galaxy S2StrengthsFeature/SpecificationPerformanceGood Distribution channelsSound PerformanceSuiting Customer NeedsBattery Backup raptureOpportunitiesWord of MouthAdvertisementRecommendationsFor SamsungSamsung should focus on brand bu ilding strategies.Samsung should tactically plan and rectify, to create a feeling among the customers that Galaxy S2 is a legitimate product of high quality. That company needs to focus on to influence people to opt their product in the coming future through internet and social media. For AppleApple should focus more on advertisements.Apple should make their product available by opening more company stores.Apple should focus on the product availability on the global scale after the product launch.ConclusionIt is seen from our studies that this industry is having a strong competitive scenario and technologically innovative segment. Due to its high aggressive nature there is a constant change in the innovation of the products within less span of time.In both the product Galaxy S2 iPhone4 having an edge over each other in some or the other attributes for e.g. Apple is known for its brand value where as Samsung is known for its performance. Samsung being a challenger is more aggressive towards its marketing strategy and in recent times they have started Gorilla attacks especially in American European Markets. Compare to Apple Samsung have wide range of distribution across worldwide which is their major strength. The major strength for Apple is its large loyal customer base without any effective marketing they are able to maintain it.There is a belief that the challenger may soon will become the leader in this segment but as we have seen in past that Apple has always brought innovation in their product and with this they have gain first mover advantage and able to capture high market share. So in future we believe that there will be a fierce competition in the smart phone segment not only between these two companies but with other companies coming in the picture to gain significant market share.

Wish For a Better Tomorrow: How can I Improve the local community :: essays research papers
7,000, is the number of people in the small town of Lyons, New York. numerous people havent hitherto heard of this town. Lyons is my hometown, and I will neer forget it. I am graduating this year, and my friends as well as myself be moving out We are all going to college at least an hour away from Lyons. Every champion in my school cant wait to leave. They hate Lyons, and they say that there is nothing here for them. I believe just the opposite. There is a lot in Lyons to improve, but I will never leave forever. I am having a hard time just leaving this town to go to college. Everything is here, My family, my friends, my house and my school. That means more to me than anything in this world. Lyons isnt exactly the hipest place to be, its sometimes even scary to walk the streets at night. I even remember my mother once saying that closely fifteen years ago, she could leave the doors unlocked at night and not have to worry about anything. Now, you have to leave the doors locked i n the daytime. I would compound a lot of things about Lyons, but never change the way people help other people out in every situation. I would change the community in many ways. One way I would change Lyons is by adding more places for children and teenagers to hang out. As of right now, there is one community center where some people play basketball, but it is really run down, and there is not much to do. I havent even been there. One of the biggest problems in Lyons is that kids roam the streets all hours of the day, and I think that if we have something to help minimize that, that is all we need.
